This full custom IC in 0.8µm CMOS has:

• voltage regulator
• multi channel pulse shaping
• multiple resistor string digital to analogue converters (DACs)
• 49 bit shift register for programming DACs
• power down mode
• comparators & Schmitt triggers
• undervoltage detection.

The IC takes multiple inputs from radiation sensors and produces digital outputs for pulses above a threshold set by the DACs.  The circuit is battery operated so low current consumption is critical to maintain good battery life.
